By Police officers manning a checkpoint in Parang, Maguindanao del Norte confiscated over P20 million worth of smuggled cigarettes on Friday.
Brig. Gen. Jaysen de Guzman, regional director of Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PRO-BARMM), said the operation in Barangay Pinantao also led to the arrest of a 42-year-old man from Dipolog City who drove the truck carrying the contraband.
