By A 63-year-old passenger was killed while four others were injured after a blue cargo truck lost its brakes and plunged into a deep ravine.
The accident happened along a downhill road in Barangay Kitaan Dagat, Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur on Thursday afternoon, local police said.
Police Captain Derf Jay Maquinta, spokesperson of the Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office, reported that the mishap occurred at around 12:55 p.m. in Purok Tugas, Barangay Kitaan Dagat.
