COTABATO CITY – Anti-drug operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-BARMM) seized more than P47 million worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) and arrested two alleged drug peddlers during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion, Sibuto, Tawi-Tawi on Wednesday, March 11.
Edgar Jubay, regional director of PDEA-BARMM, said Jubay said anti-narcotic agents confiscated seven golden-yellow tea bags labeled “Guanyinwang” containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu, with an estimated total weight of approximately 7,000 grams and a standard drug price value of P47.6 million.
