By Rita Daniela dedicated her recent court victory to women and men who “didn’t have the voice or platform to fight for their rights” in the face of abuse, after Archie Alemania was sentenced to jail for acts of lasciviousness.
The Bacoor court found Alemania guilty of acts of lasciviousness against Daniela, sentencing the former to one month and one day to one year and one day imprisonment in its 21-page decision. It cited the actor’s apology message to his “Widows War” co-star as a “voluntary admission” of what he had done against her.
