MANILA, Philippines — Rain showers are forecast to persist over Luzon, while hot weather conditions are expected across Visayas and Mindanao on Tuesday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In its 5 a.m. forecast, Pagasa weather specialist Chenel Dominguez said the southwest monsoon, locally known as habagat, will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain to Metro Manila and most of Luzon, except for the Mimaropa (Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan) and Bicol regions.
