*The* Philippines has been chosen as the new host for the AVC Women’s Champions League in April with the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) and the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) serving as the local organizers.
Formerly known as the Asian Club Championship before its recent rebrand, the AVC Women’s Champions League was supposed to be hosted by South Korea as earlier announced by AVC President and PNVF chief Ramon “Tats” Suzara.
However, Korea’s hosting didn’t push through, paving the way for the Philippines to get the hosting rights from April 20 to 27 with the venue yet to be announced.
