MANILA, Philippines — Two low pressure areas (LPAs) being monitored east of northeastern Mindanao could enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) in the coming days, with one expected to cross into the boundary as early as Tuesday and the other developing into a tropical depression, the state weather bureau said.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the nearer LPA (LPA 05a) was last spotted 1,085 kilometers east of northeastern Mindanao.
