By MANILA, Philippines — Seven areas across the country are forecast to reach danger-level heat indices on Wednesday, May 6, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
Heat index, which refers to the heat the human body feels when air temperature and humidity are combined, is automatically categorized as “danger” level once it ranges between 42°C and 51°C.
