CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela — Authorities seized P1.42 million worth of unregistered fertilizers and pesticides during a raid on a compound in Barangay Santa Isabel Norte on May 1, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)–Isabela reported on Sunday.
Police Col. Rodrigo Soriano, CIDG Regional Field Unit 2 chief, identified the arrested suspect as a 33-year-old farmer known as “Roy,” who was allegedly found in possession and control of fertilizers and pesticides without registration and without a license to operate from the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA).
