By MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) is now on full alert and is increasing its deployment of law enforcers for security measures during Holy Week.
The alert level status came into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, and will stay in effect until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, PNP Chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. told reporters in a briefing in Camp Crame.
