By MANILA, Philippines — Police arrested a man in Quezon Province for allegedly pretending to be a Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) agent.
The suspect — identified only as a 35-year-old man named “Edgar” — was caught on October 21 after he approached a woman pretending to offer help with filing a complaint but demanded that she pay P5,000 in exchange.
