By MANILA, Philippines – Vice President Sara Duterte on Friday voiced grave concerns over the future of the country, questioning whether the Philippines would still “be standing” in 2028 given the current administration’s moves.
Duterte made the remarks when asked to comment on the united opposition’s plans for the 2028 presidential elections. Speculation has been mounting that Senator Risa Hontiveros or former Vice President Leni Robredo will lead the opposition’s ticket, though neither has confirmed such plans.
