By The license of a pickup driver caught in a viral video counterflowing in Malolos, Bulacan has been suspended for 90 days, the Department of Transportation said Monday.
In a show cause order, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) directed the registered owner of a Nissan Navara and the designated driver to explain the incident.
The driver may face charges for Driving Against Traffic, Obstruction of Traffic, and Improper Person to Operate a Motor Vehicle.
The LTO also ordered the immediate surrender of the driver’s license and placed the motorist’s record under “Alarm” status pending investigation.
