By MANILA, Philippines — Dangerous level of heat index is forecast in 29 areas across the country on Friday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
Eleven areas, including Iba in Zambales, are expected to reach the highest heat index at 43°C. Iba in Zambales, Butuan City in Agusan del Norte, and Borongan in Eastern Samar recorded the highest heat index at 44°C on Thursday.
