By MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon or “amihan” and the trough of a low-pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) is bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains over the country, the state weather bureau said Tuesday.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the amihan is influencing the weather over Luzon while the LPA’s trough is affecting Visayas and Mindanao.
