The La Niña phenomenon has ended as climate conditions in the tropical Pacific returned to neutral levels, the state weather bureau announced on Monday, March 9.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that ocean temperature indicators now show El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO) neutral conditions, prompting the agency to issue its final advisory for the 2025–2026 La Niña episode.
