MANILA, Philippines – Vice President Sara Duterte on Friday appeared before prosecutors from the Department of Justice (DOJ) and submitted her response to the case filed by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) regarding the threat to the lives of the President, the First Lady, and the House Speaker.
Duterte faces a complaint for inciting to sedition and grave threats after saying, during a live stream press conference that, in case she would be killed, she had already hired someone to kill President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
