MANILA, Philippines — Authorities arrested a 71-year-old man in Antipolo City for allegedly operating an illegal gun factory and confiscated 12 supposedly unregistered firearms and parts, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Wednesday.
The operation was carried out under a search warrant for violations of Republic Act No. 10591, or the Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, targeting a facility in Barangay Santa Cruz last Nov. 25, the PNP said in a statement.
