By Anne Curtis and Gerald Anderson find themselves in a brutal fight for survival in a dystopian Philippines in “BuyBust: The Undesirables,” a series that extends the world that was introduced in the hit 2018 film.
The first look of “BuyBust: The Undesirables”—set to be released on Netflix in 2026—was revealed by filmmaker Erik Matti at the 2025 Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF) Creative Asia in Yogyakarta, Indonesia on Tuesday, Dec. 2. Matti was joined by Indonesian film director Joko Anwar in revealing the project during the festival’s Creator-to-Creator session.
