MANILA, Philippines — It is wrong to judge and label the Department of Energy (DOE) as slackers just because they do not report to office regularly, as the agency has been in the thick of finding solutions to the high price of fuel, Palace press officer and Undersecretary Claire Castro said on Thursday.
During the Malacañang press briefing earlier, Castro was asked about Sen. Loren Legarda’s criticism of the DOE after learning during a Senate hearing that most officials only report once a week to the DOE’s office.
