By Authorities have uncovered an estimated P1.18 billion worth of smuggled goods, including disposable vapes, vape pods, and other contraband in a warehouse in Valenzuela City.
The vape products alone were valued at approximately P320,069,900, including the excise taxes that should have been collected by the government, according to a statement released by the Bureau of Customs (BOC) on Saturday.
The other smuggled goods, such as used clothing (ukay-ukay), phone chargers, and various merchandise, amounted to an estimated P860 million.
