MANILA, Philippines — A “surge” of northeast monsoon or amihan is seen next week, bringing cold weather in most parts of northern Luzon, a state weather bureau weather specialist said on Friday.
“By next week, possibly by Monday, we might have a surge of northeast monsoon affecting most parts of northern Luzon,” said Grace Castañeda, weather specialist of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
