By MANILA, Philippines — The vehicle carrying Senators Ronald dela Rosa and Robinhood Padilla from the Senate building last week was last seen heading toward Makati City, according to Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla.
In a phone patch interview with Palace reporters, Remulla recounted the events surrounding the senators’ departure from the legislative chamber at around 2:30 a.m. last Thursday, May 14, approximately six hours after a shooting incident at the Senate.
“At approximately 2.30 a.m., May 14, three individuals descended into the Senate parking lot. The three individuals were identified as follows: the man in white was Robin Padilla. The man in the blue jacket was Senator Bato De La Rosa. Blue jacket, a cap, was Senator Bato De La Rosa. The jane doe is the assistant who was with them, unidentified,” he said, referring to closed-circuit television footage from the Senate.
