By Miss Universe Philippines – Mountain Province 2026 Lyneree Yodong stressed that she never took anyone’s spot when she was chosen as its first titleholder, amid allegations that a regional pageant organization favored her.
Yodong has been accused of being favored by Benguet’s regional pageant organization following the resignation of Cristeta Longey, who learned that another beauty queen was prepared to represent the region.
After Longey and her team attempted to clarify matters with the Benguet organization, she later learned that the same beauty queen had been sent “to compete under a different province.”
