By MANILA, Philippines – Allegedly smuggled cigarettes worth P36.95 million were recovered by police at an industrial park in Pampanga, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) said on Thursday.
Authorities found the alleged contraband in Barangay San Pablo Libutad in San Simon town during an operation that began Wednesday night and completed inventory early Thursday morning, the CIDG noted in a statement.
