MANILA (UPDATE) — Tropical cyclone Huaning has left the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) as of 5 a.m. Tuesday, weather bureau Pagasa said.
In an earlier advisory, Pagasa sa Huaning slightly accelerated as it moves north northeastward toward Ryukyu Islands in Japan.
After Huaning’s exit from PAR early Tuesday, Pagasa said a new Low Pressure Area is being monitored east of the country.
Pagasa noted that the LPA has a “medium” potential of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
