By Four suspected drug traffickers were arrested in separate anti-narcotics operations in Quezon province on Monday and Tuesday, with authorities seizing more than P877,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) and three unlicensed handguns.
In a Tuesday report, the Police Regional Office 4A (PRO-4A) said its operatives arrested two suspects identified only by their aliases “Sandie” and “Tikboy” at around 3:27 a.m. on Tuesday in Barangay Manggalang Bantilan in Sariaya town after they allegedly sold 10 grams of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer during a buy-bust operation.
Recovered from the suspects were three heat-sealed plastic sachets and one knot-tied plastic sachet containing a total of 120 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P816,000, based on the Dangerous Drugs Board’s standard valuation.
