Sen. Rodante Marcoleta will wear the standard orange detainee shirt and a protective vest when he is brought out of the Philippine National Police (PNP) headquarters at Camp Crame on Tuesday, the agency said.
Marcoleta was ordered by the Sandiganbayan Third Division to be brought to the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) in Manila for a medical examination to determine whether he still needs to be confined as he faces a plunder case.
“He will be made to wear the detainee shirt. That’s the protocol—he should be wearing it when we present him to the court,” PNP public information chief Col. Allen Rae Co told reporters in an interview outside the PNP General Hospital (PNPGH).
