By Police arrested two Vietnamese nationals and a Filipina for allegedly operating an unlicensed cosmetic treatment facility in Barangay Poblacion, Makati City, on Thursday.
The Southern Police District’s Special Operations Unit (SPD-DSOU) conducted an entrapment operation at a spa along Salamanca Street after a week-long surveillance. The operation was set in motion when a police asset posed as a customer and requested for Botulinum toxin (Botox) injections.
According to police, the male suspect is not a licensed physician, and the establishment has no permits to perform aesthetic procedures such as Botulinum toxin injections and dermal fillers.
The Filipina, in whose name the spa is registered, was also arrested. She claimed she initially believed the business was only for nail and salon services.
