By After Saturday’s live elimination show that trimmed its roster from 50 to 40, and surprised many fans, the 2026 Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) pageant has dropped the videos from the delegates’ closed-door interview sessions.
Only the videos of the Top 40 delegates were released on Sunday evening, April 12, on the Empire PH YouTube channel. The candidates who advanced to the second round of competition were an equal mix of the leaders from the online voting via Maya, and those who received high scores from the selection committee.
Initially however, the second round was supposed to be for the swimsuit presentation of the qualifying delegates, but the MUPH updated the pageant calendar a few hours before the Top 40 announcement on Saturday evening, April 11.
