By MANILA, Philippines – Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 is up over parts of Palawan Wednesday morning as Tropical Storm Verbena (international name: Koto) intensified further over the West Philippine Sea, the state weather bureau said.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its early morning bulletin that areas under Signal No. 2 are forecast to experience gale-force winds of 62 to 88 kilometers per hour (kph) in the next 24 hours.
