MANILA, Philippines — The combined effects of the shear line, the easterlies and the northeast monsoon, or “amihan” is forecast to bring cloudy and rainy weather all over the country on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In its 5 a.m. report, Pagasa said the shear line will bring scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms to the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, particularly Aurora and Quezon.
On the other hand, the easterlies will cause scattered rains and thunderstorms to Caraga and Davao Region, along with isolated rains or thunderstorms in Visayas, Bicol Region, Mimaropa, and the rest of Mindanao.
