By MANILA, Philippines — Rains will prevail across the country on Monday due to the northeast monsoon, shear line, and localized thunderstorms, the state weather bureau said.
In its 24-hour forecast issued at 4 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) warned of cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, and Masbate, caused by the shear line.
