MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Depression Basyang has weakened into a low-pressure area (LPA) on Saturday as it moves over Sulu Sea, the state weather bureau said.
According to Pagasa, Basyang made five landfalls in Mindanao and Visayas, which caused its structure to deteriorate, weakening into a low-pressure area, The LPA was last seen on Monday morning 105 kilometers Southeast of Cuyo, Palawan, moving westward at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour.
