MANILA, Philippines — Rains are still expected over Luzon, including Metro Manila, on Wednesday due to the continued effects of the southwest monsoon, locally known as the habagat, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In its 5 a.m. forecast, Pagasa weather specialist Loriendin De la Cruz-Galica said the habagat will bring cloudy skies and a high likelihood of heavy rainfall over the following areas:
