By ZAMBOANGA CITY – The Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) has seized around PHP3.8 million worth of suspected shabu since April 1, maintaining strong operational momentum in its anti-drug campaign across the Zamboanga Peninsula.
Brig. Gen. Edwin Quilates, PRO-9 director, reported Friday that operatives conducted 63 anti-illegal drug operations over the past 17 days, resulting in the arrest of 70 drug personalities.
“These accomplishments underscore the relentless and focused efforts of PRO-9 in suppressing the proliferation of illegal drugs and dismantling drug-related criminal activities throughout the region,” Quilates said in a statement.
