By MANILA, Philippines — Police arrested the second suspect in the theft of Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairperson George Garcia’s bag, the Southern Police District (SPD) said.
According to the SPD, six individuals stole Garcia’s belongings while he was at a restaurant along Roxas Boulevard in Barangay 10, Pasay City on Tuesday afternoon.
“The operation was facilitated by confidential information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts. Further investigation and positive identification by a witness, who was present during the initial crime, were crucial in locating alias ‘Rawraw,’ the SPD explained.
