By MANILA, Philippines—The Philippine National Police (PNP) ordered an investigation on Wednesday into the origin and possible networks linked to ₱16,120,000 worth of suspected smuggled cigarettes found in abandoned trucks in Malabang, Lanao del Sur.
Boxes of suspected smuggled cigarettes seized by the Police Regional Office–Bangsamoro Autonomous Region were discovered stashed beneath coconuts in three left-behind trucks after police acted on an early morning alert on April 21.
