By MANILA, Philippines — A 60-year-old man posing as a “king” and 14 others were arrested in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, on March 28 for allegedly running an online investment scam that lured victims nationwide with promises of future financial returns.
The suspect, known as “Supremo,” allegedly presented himself as the “Spiritual Wonder Boy” and “King” of the so-called Royal Kingdom of Maharlika and Royal Vanguard Transnational Intelligence Inc.
