LUCENA CITY, Quezon – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested three suspected bigtime drug traffickers and seized more than P4.4 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) in separate anti-drug operations in Cavite and Batangas provinces on June 17 and June 18.
In a report released on Friday, PDEA Region 4A said their operatives from its Cavite Provincial Office, in coordination with personnel from the Cavite Maritime Police Station, arrested suspects identified only as “Larry,” 57, and “Elwood,” 27, during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Halang in Naic, Cavite, at about 6:18 p.m. on June 18.
Authorities recovered five knot-tied transparent plastic bags containing suspected shabu weighing a total of 500 grams with an estimated value of P3.4 million.
