By San Miguel was a force to be reckoned with, routing Titan Ultra, 158-117, in the PBA Philippine Cup on Wednesday at the Ynares Center in Montalban, Rizal.
The Beermen took control early, outscoring the Giant Risers 36-24 in the opening quarter before breaking the game wide open in the second. San Miguel poured in 43 points in that period while holding Titan to just 14, building a commanding 79-38 halftime lead.
The onslaught continued in the third quarter, as the Beermen opened with an 8-0 run to make it 87-38. They went on to post their biggest lead of the game at 91-41 midway through the said period before cruising to the victory.
