MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has denied rumors that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is ill, saying he is busy with meetings and engagements.
Palace Press Officer Claire Castro on Monday said Marcos was “definitely well” after he skipped a scheduled engagement in Quezon City earlier in the day, “He is good,” she said, noting that the president would be leading the oath-taking of officers of the Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines in the afternoon.
