By MANILA – The Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested three high-value drug personalities and confiscated PHP48 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust in Zamboanga City on Friday.
“The illegal drugs, along with buy-bust money and other non-drug items, were recovered at the scene of the transaction,” the PNP said in a news release Sunday.
“We will continue to intensify our operations against individuals who persist in engaging in illegal drug trade. They will face the full force of the law,” PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said.
