MANILA, Philippines — Police confiscated a total of P3 million worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) and arrested five individuals in separate anti-drug operations in Taguig and Pasay cities, the Southern Police District (SPD) reported.
In Taguig, authorities seized about P1 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested a woman in a buy-bust operation early Tuesday morning, according to an SPD statement.
Police identified the suspect as “Angel,” a 22-year-old unemployed resident of Barangay Calzada-Tipas, who was caught along Ruhale Street, Confiscated from the suspect were approximately 147.8 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1,005,040, along with buy-bust money and other drug paraphernalia, the SPD said.
