MANILA – A Filipino passenger arriving from Bangkok, Thailand, was apprehended at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 on Thursday after authorities discovered suspected marijuana concealed in his checked-in baggage.
According to initial information from the Bureau of Customs (BOC), the illegal substance, locally known as “kush,” weighed 8.91 kilograms and had an estimated street value of PHP13.365 million.
