By MANILA – Authorities arrested six drug suspects and seized more than PHP101 million worth of suspected shabu in separate anti-drug operations in Parañaque City and Leyte province on Thursday, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported Friday.
In Parañaque City, a joint buy-bust conducted by the PNP and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Barangay Sun Valley led to the arrest of five individuals, including a suspect known by the alias “Bossing.” “Hindi titigil ang PNP sa pagtugis sa mga sangkot sa ilegal na droga (The PNP will not stop pursuing those involved in illegal drugs). We will continue to act decisively, within the bounds of the law, to protect our communities,” PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said in a news release. (PNA)
