P1.9-M ‘shabu,’ firearms seized in Isabela operation – PNP

ROXAS, Isabela — Authorities seized about 280 grams of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) valued at P1.9 million, along with assorted firearms and ammunition, during an operation in Purok 4, Barangay Lanting, Roxas, Isabela on Sunday evening, May 17, police said Monday.

Police Colonel Manuel Bringas, director of the Isabela Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested suspects as alleged high-value drug targets Laura Esguerra, alias “Orang,” 51, and Orville Miranda, alias “Porman,” 35, both residents of the village.

Recovered during the initial operation were three sachets of suspected shabu worth P1.9 million, a firearm of still undetermined caliber with 36 assorted rounds of ammunition, four gas tubes, a tooter, and other drug paraphernalia.
