By MANILA, Philippines — The police seized an estimated P1.36 million worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) and arrested three suspects in a buy-bust operation in Taguig City, the Philippine National Police – National Capital Region Police Office (PNP – NCRPO) said on Tuesday.
The suspects were arrested late Monday night at a fast food restaurant chain in Barangay Lower Bicutan, after nearly a week of surveillance operations, the PNP – NCRPO detailed in a statement.
“The group allegedly acted as runners of identified drug sources and was involved in distributing illegal drugs across Taguig, Pasig, Muntinlupa, Rizal and Cavite through meet‑up and cash‑to‑cash transactions,” the regional police explained.
