By MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) clarified that investigators found no evidence of negligence on the part of both the car driver and Light Rail Transit-1 management following the death of a male student who fell on Edsa from the LRT-1 Fernando Poe Jr. station last Wednesday.
The QCPD explained in a briefing on Friday that no inquest proceedings were conducted after the fatality’s father executed a notarized affidavit stating he would no longer pursue a criminal complaint against the car driver involved in the incident.
