MANILA, Philippines — A new low-pressure area (LPA) was spotted inside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Wednesday morning, the state weather bureau reported.
Based on the latest update of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) released around 8:30 a.m., the LPA was last spotted over the coastal waters of Vinzons, Camarines Norte.
Meanwhile, Pagasa earlier reported that a cloud cluster near the eastern boundary of the PAR may also develop into an LPA in the next 24 to 36 hours.
